Springfield Armory® firearms in an OSP™ (Optical Sight Pistol) configuration accept adapter plates for mounting leading red dot sights, enhancing accuracy. Please refer to fitment chart for assistance in finding the correct plate.  NOTE: the fitment chart is not a complete list of all red dots available on the open market, but rather a list of some of the most popular.  If in doubt on what footprint your preferred red dot sight is, please contact the manufacturer for assistance in selecting the proper OSP mounting plate.

    Xd osp mounting plate #2

    This plate is a direct fit for my Springfield xdm elite osp in 45 acp and a few other psitols. The fit and finish is top notch the plate fits perfectly and covers up the loaded chamber indicator spring to keep it safe while also maintaining function. The plate isn't to big to where it sticks off my pistol in a bad way. Just enough to fit the vortex defender st I put into it. If your looking for an optics mounting plate they have several that fit a variety of different models. Only thing I can say is wish I pulled the trigger sooner. Don't hesitate you won't regret buying it.

    I would prefer not to have to add an adapter but this one is required and is well made. I have yet to know if it works with the red dot sight as I haven't received the RD but have mounted the adapter. Fit and finish are accurate and very nice.

    It holds my green dot well

    I mounted this to my XDM-Elite after filing off a few MMs of the screws that came with my green dot. After getting it all together it feels very secure and I expect it to hold things in place for quite a while.
