Springfield Armory® firearms in an OSP™ (Optical Sight Pistol) configuration accept adapter plates for mounting leading red dot sights, enhancing accuracy. Please refer to fitment chart for assistance in finding the correct plate.  NOTE: the fitment chart is not a complete list of all red dots available on the open market, but rather a list of some of the most popular.  If in doubt on what footprint your preferred red dot sight is, please contact the manufacturer for assistance in selecting the proper OSP mounting plate.

    I would prefer not to have to add an adapter but this one is required and is well made. I have yet to know if it works with the red dot sight as I haven't received the RD but have mounted the adapter. Fit and finish are accurate and very nice.

    It holds my green dot well

    I mounted this to my XDM-Elite after filing off a few MMs of the screws that came with my green dot. After getting it all together it feels very secure and I expect it to hold things in place for quite a while.

    The optical plate came in good time and fit perfect would definitely advise anyone who needs anything or one to go to the site and it's so easy

    i really think you could ask another $10.00 for the Pistol and include a plate free with Registry of the Firearm,to spend another $33 for a thin Plate COME ON $10 Dollars to ship it. I am Not very Happy.

    I think it would be very helpful to actually include the size of the threads pillars, b**** and screw that you need to put your optic into this plate. Mine came with absolutely no instructions or paperwork, and a c d mailer. Has part-time hobbyists and fun? Shooting enthusiasts may not understand all the different metric and english thread sizes that you need to be able to mount something to this plate. Otherwise, great service and great help on the website I would recommend.

    Plate looks good! Glad to see a 507k plate finally. Handy information that should be listed in the plate description is the thread size and pitch for mounting the optic to plate.
