Men's Springfield Armory Retro Logo Tee

I have a collection of “Shooter” tees from years past. With some nearing retirement, I was pleased to see Springfield Armory offering a tee with the iconic Shooter logo. My current collection of Shooter tees are Hanes Beefy-T 100% cotton, so I was somewhat apprehensive when I saw this new tee was 60% cotton/ 40% polyester. Knowing this might be the only opportunity to replace my aging Shooter tees, I placed an order for 2 of each color. The tees arrived promptly. Each was individually packed in a plastic bag for protection. The tees are nice looking. The text and logo are clear. Of the three colors available, indigo is my favorite color. Knowing I’m a retired Marine, my friends find that a little odd. LOL. Wrt colors. Light Olive is slightly darker than the color swatch on the website. Indigo is much lighter. Warm Gray is about the same. Not certain if it’s the swatch or my monitor. Being 60% cotton/40% polyester, I knew this tee would have a different feel than I’m accustomed to. They’re lighter. They’re cooler. There is nothing to indicate these are “tall” tees. At 74.5-inches tall, the length is right for my height. Sleeve length is a tad shorter than I prefer on tees, but not as short as some I’ve seen. Time will tell if these new tees hold up as well as my previous collection of Shooter tees. While that remains to be seen, I’m pleased with these tees and wouldn’t hesitate to purchases them again. A special thanks to Springfield Armory for bringing the Shooter tee back, even if only for a short period of time.
