Very nice red dot. Easy to install.
I bought for my Hellcat Pro and I am not disappointed once mounted using a Fat Max Torques scredriver too 15 inch pounds and little blue lock tite this site is dead on great by and glass lens too boot ...
Not as bright as I had hoped it would be.
Fits perfect and red dot once zeroed is spot on...highly recommend.
easy installation, easy adjustment, like that it came with hex keys, looks great on my Hellcat.
Rugged piece of equipment. Works great. Love it.
Purchased a Hellcat Pro and mounted the Shield SMSC. I have around 1000 rounds through the pistol and the site has held true. Easy to zero with a great cowitness. Auto adjust brightness works flawlessly. Tested it in a dark room turning the light switch on and off. Sight adjusted as fast as I could flick the lights. Very accurate, makes 40 yard rapid head shots on multiple steel targets easy. Feels like cheating! So far, I love it.
Perfect fit on my new Hellcat Pro. Easy to sight in. Was surprised to find a sticker on the box saying that the lense was glass, expected polymer. Very Pleased.
I received my shield SMSc on a Thursday and installed it right away. Went on perfect. Co-witness is perfect. This was a high priority to me in choosing a red dot. The only issue I ran into was that next Saturday I took it to the range and after a few hours there the red dot started going out in the signature battery is dying kinda way. The sight is labeled as being manufactured 7-22 which was only about a month ago. Maybe two. Luckily the owner of the range is a stand up guy. I was packing up and maybe had a disappointed look on my face or something. And he came around and asked me how the red dot testing was going. I showed him and he was all no you need this working before you leave and whipped out his tool box. We tested the battery with a volt meter and it was dead. Put a new battery in and reassembled and it’s been on since. About a week now. I guess we’ll see. If you’re in the NC area check out Distinguished Pistols. Clint and his family owned and run business is spectacular! How did it shoot? My groups tightened up noticeably. (This is my first red dot pistol.) Other than what seemed to be a bad battery the only issue I’ve run into is cleaning it. Shield says you have to use a special cleaner and q tips to clean. Using lens cleaner and a microfiber will scratch the plastic lens or mess up the coating. I get that the plastic lens is more shatter proof though. Overall I believe I am pleased with it.
