Description

The Springfield Armory M1A is a semi-automatic variant of one of the most recognized rifles around the world thanks to its storied history on the battlefield as the U.S. Military service rifle, the M14.

Today, airgun enthusiasts can own a faithful spring-piston replica of the same legendary rifle. Keeping accuracy in mind, the M1A Underlever Air Rifle features a real wood stock, rifled steel barrel, and windage/elevation adjustable rear peep sights. Threaded holes on the left side of the action allow shooters to attach traditional M1A/M14 mounts to accept optics. Hidden on the underside of the stock is an extendable cocking lever that makes the 35 lb charge a breeze. A two-stage trigger pull sends a single shot down range at up to 1000 fps.

Whether you're a fan of the classics or an airgunner looking to add another rifle to the colllection, the M1A Underlever Rifle is an authentic recreation of one of the most iconic firearms ever created.

Could have been a solid 5 stars had it had the capability to include a non working magazine. Going for that realistic touch.

    Scope mount

A well made M1A/M14 replica. Good wooden stock. Correct weight. But, I have been unable to find a scope mount that will work with the mounting provisions in the rifle. Tried expensive to cheap. The problem seems to be a hump in the receiver forward of the rear sight that will not allow the back of the mount to float.
