this was a simple easy swap and it allows the addition of a bayonet to more closely mimic the M14 that I carried in Vietnam so many years ago

does a m7 fit the m1a? i already bought the lug from you

I would recommend this to everyone who has a M1A1.

With no experience changing out this part, it was somewhat difficult to loosen everything up (even after viewing a U-Tube instruction), but after using some muscle on the pliers, it all came apart and then went easily back together all lined up (front site). No problem now!

This flash suppressor completed my rifle. I love it. Perfect fit. Easy to change. Now I’m hoping for a Springfield M6 bayonet. Thank you.

My first line supervisor lost it and told me to grab a water source when he noticed my weapon(M1A) didn't have a bayonet lug. So for several hours I was outside the company doing bayonet charges till my leader got tired. Needless to say once I got back to the Barracks I ordered this and have passed inspection everytime since. They even appointed be to be the point man when we stack up and clear rooms with bayonets.

Wish it had the castle nut with it
