HBI Short Stroke Buffer Kit for Springfield Armory Kuna™
The HBI Short Stroke Buffer Kit is a drop-in replacement for the factory buffer pad and recoil spring on the Springfield Armory Kuna™. The increased buffer length reduces rearward bolt travel, helping to further moderate the recoil impulse.
The kit includes HBI's +20% recoil spring, which is specifically engineered to complement the shortened bolt travel. Together, the buffer and spring are designed to maintain reliable cycling and consistent bolt return during operation.
The buffer is manufactured from high-performance polyurethane for long-lasting durability and dependable performance.
Compatibility Note: This kit is engineered for use with the included HBI +20% recoil spring. While the short stroke buffer can be used with the factory recoil spring, HBI recommends using the included spring to achieve the intended operating characteristics and bolt return performance. Works with 9mm, .40 SW, and 10mm calibers.
Aftermarket Components: This kit is designed and validated for Springfield Armory factory-configured Kuna™ firearms and HBI components. Due to the wide variety of aftermarket fire control groups, lower receivers, magazines, and other components available, compatibility with all aftermarket configurations cannot be guaranteed.
