I have several of the smaller versions of this case and am finding them to be useful on range trips when I am packing multiple pistols into a range bag. I put each pistol into one of these cases, then put the cases into the range bag. The cases protect the pistols from being bumped by ammo boxes, ear muffs, and by whatever else gets thrown into the bag. These are simple cases without any bells and whistles, and that is precisely what I want for my particular use case -- thin, simple, just something to enclose each pistol.

Great bag, it is larger than the stock bag that comes with new 1911s. It is working great for my air pistol Mil Spec.
Very stylish that you can use for any larger handgun if you don't like the bulky plastic cases I just wish Springfield Armory make backpacks that can hold the weight of at least 2 guns and 8 mags and 2 boxes of ammo and range gear like glasses etc. Other than that grate finish good quality and value for the money.
