Hellcat® Pro C02 Blowback .177 BB Air Pistol

I bought the Hellcat Pro CO2 Blowback .177 BB Air Pistol and the Sig Sauer P365 Airsoft pistol for use in training at home, in addition to my weekly live fire range training with my real Hellcat Pro and Sig Sauer P365. It has worked out better than I had anticipated. The weight and feel of both pistols is close enough to the real thing that I can practice holster draws, sight on target, dry fire and multiple drills to reinforce muscle memory. The blowback is a nice feature, although no ware near the blowback on the real pistols. I do like that this takes dry firing up a notch with actual feedback from the BB's hitting the target. I do wish Springfield (Air Venturi) would have adopted a similar approach to the magazines that Sig Sauer P365 offers with both the BB's and the CO2 cartridges together in the magazine. It makes for a more realistic practice for magazine swaps. I have gone through almost 2,500 BB's and 10-15 CO2 cartridges so far. They are fun practice pistols.

When you own a Springfield Hellcat 9 mm this BB gun is a great practice pistol. Functions very well and rather powerful for a co2 powered BB gun. I knew this would be the case since Springfield Armory put their name on it.

I really want to like this much more! Fits in all my Hellcat holsters and is a fun backyard tool. My wife popped an airgun target with it at more than 7 yards! But it has some drawbacks... it is an airgun. It has a cheap airgun trigger. And for some reason, it doesn't always fire a bb. On the plus side, I have shot more than 3 magazines (17 bbs) and still using the same CO2 cartridge. That's impressive. I figure I can practice some draws without too much risk, but it is not a replacement for real range time. Maybe I will feel different when I put a red dot on it? Gave it 4 stars, but I really wanted to give 5. Perhaps after the newness wears off, I will feel like I should have given it 3.

Purchased this and the 1911. Very impressed for a BB pistol. Plinking a tree in the backyard at 40-50 feet. Need to make up a few paper targets. Great way to have a little fun at home. It's definitely not a toy

I bought this CO2 pistol to practice at home. The quality of very solid and general feeling is near identical to my Hellcat carry gun. Note that the wall on the trigger is a bit closer in and the slide is a notch wider than the actual firearm. So it might not fit some Kydex holster if you want to use it for holster training. For home practice to build and maintain muscle memory without hitting the range weekly, this is an excellent choice.

Anyone who owns a hellcat Pro absolutely needs to get one of these bad boys. This is as close to EXACT as it can be. Playing with the kids and teaching them proper pistol handling and safety was the main reason I purchased this but it fits perfectly in all the holster I own for the Hellcat Pro which allows me to practice drawing from IWB or OWB. Absolutely love these things! I do wish it came with an additional BB magazine but for $12 it's worth buying a few extras to keep the fun going.

I love this rascal! You guys need to send air cartridge at least one. I plink around with it in the yard! It sounds like a .22 so be careful of your surroundings. These are not for children in my opinion definitely beginners in the weapons world, even professionals will have fun with these. I will be ordering another one pretty soon the wife loves it.

Weighs and feels almost identical to my actual hellcat pro, bought it to teach my wife and daughter how to properly hold and shoot a handgun without having to actually take them to a range. Great for teaching them hand placement and understanding the basics on how a handgun recoils with the slide reciprocating and finding sights again for follow up shots.
