Screws provided too long for Sprinfield’s own HEX red dot sight.I had to purchase shorter screws 3rd party to make it work. Not to happy about it.
The price of this plate was very reasonable in comparison to other manufacturers. It works as designed and have no issues. Make sure to follow torque requirements and use thread locker.
The plate fits perfect for my red dot. Easy to install and doesn’t look clunky.
The Burris FF3 will not sit flush on the Doctor adapter plate. The front of the FF3 curves out a bit and hits the slide's cutout. It looks like you could file the front of the FF3 to let it drop down onto the plate, but I opted to just use a different sight. Other than that, it is a well made adapter plate.
This plate is solid and well built, fairly affordable, and Springfield shipped it out pretty quick. I got it for an MPS but once mounted it raised the MPS just enough to lose co-witness with the OEM Echelon iron sites. I knew this could happen but I couldn’t find any info with how new the Echelon is. So, if you want this setup and keep your irons, you’ll have to order higher sights to work. I just wish Springfield would’ve noted that in the description of this plate on their website.
This comes in handy if you have an optic that either has the Arco/Doctor footprint.
