Agency Optic System (AOS)

Developed in collaboration with Agency Arms the Prodigy employs AOS (Agency Optic System) plates designed exclusively for the 1911 DS. Machined from billet steel, each plate is designed specifically to deliver proper optic height for intuitive sight picture and instant target acquisition and features an integral rear sight. Each AOS plate ships with screws to mount the plate to a 1911 DS handgun.

    Plates are thinner than the screws

    The plate fits perfect but when you add the Red Dot from holosun 507k the screws that come with the wholesome are about a millimeter to 2 mm longer so you can't secure it to the mounting plate properly.

    This Agency Optics System mounting plate for my Prodigy fits like a glove. The torque needs to be set a bit higher than specified to ensure it holds zero, but a couple of drops of thread-locker does the trick.

    The mount worked just fine. Would have been nice if Springfield would have worked with more of the more popular sights.

    I have optics mounted on numerous other brand pistols. This Agency Optics System plate with built in suppressor height sights is as high quality as the Prodigy it sits on. Never need to reseat or rezero my red dot.

    He needs to come with screws that are longer for mounting red dots since the plate changes. The height most screws will not fit and you have to find aftermarket.
