All Guides Choice Leather holsters are shipped with only a natural oil finish on vegetable tanned cowhide, no dyes ever.  The color of the leather will darken considerably over time with wear and exposure to sunlight.  If you want a darker shade on your holster, place holster in a window sill exposed to light, and your holster will darken quickly.
